Lewisville, TX – The PNM | TNMP Foundation (formerly the PNM Resources Foundation) has announced the opening of two upcoming grant cycles, offering critical funding opportunities to nonprofit organizations across Texas.

The first opportunity, the Non-Traditional Education Pathways Grant, opens June 9, 2025, and closes June 30, 2025. These unrestricted grants are designed to support Texans who are often underserved—such as youth, veterans, seniors, individuals who are unhoused, formerly incarcerated, or developmentally disabled. Funding may be used for programs focused on STEAM education, housing, food access, workforce development, and other foundational learning supports. Special consideration will be given to proposals that are collaborative, inclusive, and demonstrate sustainability and measurable impact.

Up to $400,000 will be awarded to qualifying nonprofits across the TNMP and PNM service areas in Texas and New Mexico.

The second opportunity, the Reduce Your Use Grant, opens July 1, 2025, and closes July 31, 2025. This grant helps nonprofits lower their energy costs so they can dedicate more resources to providing essential services. Eligible projects include solar panel installations, updated heating and cooling systems, energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and more. These upgrades are intended to reduce operational expenses while creating a cleaner, healthier environment for both staff and clients.

Up to $300,000 will be distributed to eligible organizations.

Application materials, eligibility guidelines, and deadlines will be available soon at: https://tnmp.com/about-us/community-outreach
